I think maybe Scoma's in SF was the best meal although I am partial to Market in St. Helena. Together with my partner, I think lasagne night was my favorite so far. But I cooked so there is room to modify this list. :)
umm I think the best meal i have had is when he could me meat for the first time and he has never tasted meat
Shrimp Scampi, from a greek restaurant down the road from my house. My partner and I don't really eat the same things at the same time, like cooking dinner or whatnot, and when we do it's mediocre at best, microwave or a few minutes on the stove, there's no care or effort in what we make for ourselves.
I guess eating with the person you love makes everything taste wonderful.
Best meal I've ever had would have to be the amazing lamb + appetizer (melon, prosciutto, mozzarella + basil sauce) + roasted tomatoes he cooked for me one V-day. The potatoes were a little overcooked (I'm also not a potato fan), though :\

We went to French restaurant for our 2 year anniversary and it was by far the best meal I've ever had.

An elaborate three-course fish meal at a restaurant (La Barca) in Rome. A lasagna dinner at home.
The BEST pizza in Pisa!!! or maybe it was dinner in the Eiffel Tower? or possibly the gourment meal in an open jungle resturant in Costa Rica during a torrental down pour!
The best meal that we have both had would be at his family reunion when a family friend named Chang cooked for us while camping. We had everyone's taste buds watering in the entire campground from the fragrance of the food : ) My best meal for me would
have to be our 2 am taco bell runs after a night of fun!
