Nope but they thought I would marry a white man


Till I was in my mid 20s my parents hated my boyfriends... until we broke up, then they'd be like "Oh really? I liked him." After the second time they did that I realised theres just no pleasing parents when it comes to partners - nothings ever good enough for their child. (thank god they're better now that Im older).
