Yes... And through the phone... And through letters... People have been doing this falling in love in these ways for years. "It is only with the heart that one can see clearly. What is essential is invisible to the eye."


It might be possible that people think they are in love, but there is every chance that they are hiding their real personality traits behind their computer screens. A face-to-face meeting doesn't provide anywhere to hide!


Why not? People fell in love through letters throughout history.


Not my luck. Internet dated for years...found most people made themselves out to be something different. Pretty hard to fall in love in my opinion (plus you don't want to romanticize a person before you meet them...could lead to disappointment).
