Flowers delivered to me a few hours before he gets home from work with a note giving me an idea of what to wear, then he'd pick me up and we would go have sushi at the beach and watch the sun set and talk and play in the sand and when we get home we would drink wine and have popcorn and watch a movie
Sitting around a campfire, making sticky treats and exchanging sticky kisses before heading into the tent for some sticky fun.
A nice dinner and maybe a good movie snuggling on the couch. Or a great vacation in the sun watching the waves.
Anything that involves us making each other the sole focus of the other's attention. Anything that involves a quiet environment, lots of eye contact, sensitive touching, reminiscing about our good times in the past as a couple and our plans for the future.... Especially for the life we will have as empty nesters. I used to not look forward to growing old until I met you. Now I look forward to it, because those will be our best years. Thank you for being the person I want to grow old with.

Well seeing as how public places kinda make me uncomfortable I think a romantic evening would consist of us being completely alone and renting some movies popping some popcorn cuddling up together and talking and kissing on each other
