Yeah, i would just say it's better to have loved and lost so that you gain some experience from. For the next one you'll do it a lot better.
This isn't really a choice, but the latter does not provide you with any insight to others or yourself. And knowing yourself can only be done in certain situations after you give it your all. Failure never means you lose.
loved and lost...it's part of life and we learn each time we love and lose

Yes! Because love is about giving. And to have love and lost is to know what love truly is. People treat that statement as if the loss is a "final" loss, as in partner leaving. But in relationship there are lots of small losses as well. We love through them. It is the evidence of the strength of our love and commitment to each other.

It is absolutely better to love and have lost then not at all. Hearts mend over time and if one love doesn't work, then there is another out there.... living alone and without love is not ideal.
loved and lost. you should become a better judge at recognizing what's real and what isn't. Grow and learn.
