instead of going into detail about how impossible it is to be one or the other, I will simply say that I want to be happy with my love, she deserves the best I can give her and so much more, and her happiness equals my happiness. ;)

I believe happiness is a temporary moode in which it comes and goes like the wind. With contentment it's a peaceful happiness. I believe its a state instead of a passing mode. I'll take contentment by definition. =)

Content, happiness is an elusive and volatile emotion. Contentment is a basis that allows for happiness, sadness, excitement and all the others interesting parts of life to be 'handled'.

Happiness and contentment, to me, are two sides of the same coin. I can also say I am extremely happy AND content. I love my husband and my marriage! I am happy and content!

Being happy

Being happy

Happy! I want to live life to the full

Happy. You can't be content without being happy

Contentment and Happiness are synonyms. Contentment however allows me to be emotionally satisfied whatever the circumstance or situation. Happiness is usually associated with some emotionally euphoric event and can change abruptly should the event or circumstance prove not to be favorable

Happy. Being content is nothing more than settling with what you have and not putting extra effort into your life to make more of it. Make like a happy experience. We only get one chance at it.

I'd much rather be happy. Content is just existing day to day.

I'd rather be happy, because being happy automatically produces a sense of contentment.

Being happy with content but being happy over all. To be content in some respects is to be stagnent or have no drive for better. I don't ever really want content in this regard, but I want to be happy with the good in my life

Being happy. Content is just existing..... I want to be happy.

Being happy as a mug..
