Dont go to bed angry.
Your partner should always make you a better person and you should bring out the best in them.
Don't ever assume you understand what someone else is about or where they are coming from, completely. They think and process differently from you and not one way is right. Ask them questions about what they are thinking about? Just like The Ice Break...
Do NOT choose your partner over your friends every time. Your friends were around first, and definitely will be afterwards.
the best advice I've received is that there are two types of conflict in any relationships: conflicts where you should stand your ground and conflicts that should be dropped or compromised. understanding the difference helps focus both people on what's really important.
Always treat the one you love like its the last time you see them. Always tell them you love them, because one day you may no longer have the chance
Always say 'I love you' before leaving anywhere, always hold hands, always hug and kiss when departing from each other, and receive your spouse daily.
Ik geef vaak advies krijg niet want trek m'n eigen conclusies
it's impossible to give 50/50 to make 100% all the time. Somedays you may only give 30 and she gives 70 other days you give 60 she gives 40 the point is that to make it work each has to carry the other now and then and be happy to do it. I've not always done like this says but if I can rethink my steps along the way if I did I think things would have been alot easier. knowing you have some to lean and that will be there through thick & thin is worth more than all the money in the world.
All comes down to trust and respect.
Don't base your relationship off of romantic comedies or fairy tales. Relationships take work but are so worth the fight.
