FRIENDS! 100%. If a couple is in it for the long term, there's gotta be a rock-solid friendship underneath everything to make it through the good times and the less good times.

Well both are extremely important but I think that friendship is more since it allows for the couple to connect more deeply and meeningfully
but, of course, what's the point of being a couple if the people don't have sex?
