My mom- she's more of a friend than a mother sometimes, but she's there for me when I need her. My dad- when he can get past the fact that the Bible gives him power as the head of the household and learn to not let it go to his head, is full of usable advice and understanding about directions I want to take in life.

Not ideal, I am the black sheep and never live up to their expectations so I have stopped trying. I live for me and my children.

My mother's dead, but my father and I are very very close.

It's...interesting to say the least. My brother and I tend to play more of the parents role, than they do at times. The relationship between my father and I is very particular. It's a very strong love hate relationship. Lately though, it's been on the love side, which is nice as we're getting along, which I think has a lot to due with me not living at home. We're both very strong headed, and bump heads too often. As for my mother, we are very close and always have been.

My mom is certifiable crazy so we don't talk and I've never met my dad, although he's in prison so when it comes down to it I would say my relationships are great with them since we don't talk :)

I hear to what my mom has to say. Just because I hear it does not mean I am listening to her. I have no comment for my father.

It's great. I love my mom and dad! There is nothing like having parents that love you and want to see you doing well.
