Do you and your partner have any social networking rules (for example: no Facebook flirting)?

I am on all the social site but he isn't.

I dont think we do... well because i dont expect him to be flirting with others obviously. I dont do it neither.

No...at least none that I know of

My partner & I aren't friends on Facebook. Should I be concerned?
You should never feel concerned unless you think you have reason to be concerned, and if you are you should talk to your partner about it. I don't think it's a big deal if your friends with your partner in a social network setting.

I don't think it is a big deal either. Every couple has certain things that mean things to them or are sticking points, and if Facebook isn't one of them...then more power to you two. :)

I'd freak out lol

To the 41-50 Engaged above, in my honest opinion it's all about trust in your relationship, if you don't trust your partner then there's bigger problems than them being on facebook that you should address.

I meant I'd freak out if we weren't friends on Facebook, it has nothing to do with trust issues. We've been together for 22 years, I'm beyond the stages of worrying because we've built that trust solid over the years. My issue re F/B would be the same as if my mum didn't want me on it! It's a 'WTF' kinda moment lol

Thank you all for commenting - It's definitely help me to put this into perspective. To be honest Im fine with us not being friends, we both have our privacy & i do trust him but if he sends me a friend request I will accept :) lol Thanks again xxx

no but I think he blocked me from fully viewing his page I could only see certain things

No rules here. He knows I go on fb once a day at least, but he is fine with that. Little does he shouldn't be!

No Facebook period, eliminates drama.

No relationship statuses. It's no one's business but our own.

Yes , we aren't to flirt or talk to the opposite sex.

I'm sure there are rules but none that I am aware of.

I don't think we have rules. He can be weird about Facebook since its not his scene but we don't have rules. And Facebook flirting, really? That's just disrespectful, we wouldn't do that to each other.

None spoken...

No, but I used to get the feeling that he didn't allow me to see his full Facebook profile (like he changed the settings), because he didn't want me to see his correspondences with exes and the like.

Nope

We don't even flirt with each other on fb! haha!
