Something useful. Why would I want something I won't need
A big surprise is really exciting and being something useful at the same time would be extremely cool,
A BIGG surprise
I think it depends. If its a time in my life where I need something useful, then that's great. Or if it's a time in my life where something surprising and out of the ordinary would please me more, then thats even better. I like to think that he's checked in enough to know what I need. I tend to lean towards the surprising though. If I truly need it I'll buy it for myself, but you can't replace the feeling of being surprised by a gift.
I would rather a surprise, although it doesn't have to be a big surprise. I feel like I could very easily but myself something practical, and would if I truly could benefit from its practicality. I appreciate gift giving and receiving that involves an understanding of what would elicit joy and excitement of the other partner.
Big surprise!
anything from the heart.
I do prefer something useful now that we are married and have this whole future to build. But some surprises are cool. The flowers he gets me are so pretty. :)
Both are fun :-) Depends on where you're at in life and what you want, lol.
A big pleasant surprise you know I'll like :)
uh... Can you help me being more specific. pleaase?

Both can be great presents. A nice card with a message out of the blue is the best
Agreed. Love the surprises without a reason!

Well I love the whole big surprise idea but I also know that due to our unique calling in life we have had to be practical and if had to choose practical over surprise to continue doing what we do...I'd choose practical any day as long as I can do it with you! ☺
Something useful
Something useful is always good ;)...but receiving a gift that you always wanted, but would never otherwise buy yourself would be the best...just sayin, in my opinion.
Both but I love surprises but you though I'm a big fan of useful gifts
