I really struggle with keeping interest while reading a book but I guess something by ursula la guin
Poorly made in china. because it was well written and open a whole new world to me that helped me get perspective of my profession. Also because it's the only book I got directly from the author with an autograph ;)

Bellum Civile, because I'm a huge history nerd
The Car by Gary Paulson cause it's about a boy left alone and builds a kit car and travels the country. Read it many times as a kid.
All the bright places. It's raw, heavy and realistic.
Life of Pi. Too hard to explain why. It's magical.
