Describe the situation. It's pretty obvious when encouragement is needed.

Admit that I don't feel confident.

When I tell him I'm too stressed I'm thinking of taking my anxiety medication.

He already knows.

he can usually tell, but if not I just tell him I'm having a bad day/week. he catches on quickly

I would try my best to let her know that I'm in a bad situation and I'll try and be honest with her that I need her support and help.

Just tell her, i need ur encouragement in perfect time.

Usually I will be quiet and just focus on chores.

I put myself down fishing for a compliment.

She just know by looking at me.

Say "this sucks..." and then proceed to venting

I tell him about things I wanna do but he just listens dont really say anything for as encouraging me to do it

Whine.

Let my partner know I'm discouraged and why. He will usually offer me encouragement or a hug..

Vent what's on my mind then ask for help.
