I think it depends on the situation. Sometimes we need deadlines in relationships but other times they can be very damaging

I think it's a little of both, depends on how you approach it. If you partner understands.

Anything with "dead" in the word sounds damaging...

kinda how I live, is by deadlines. I think deadlines are good too keep on schedule

Depends on the reason for deadline.

Healthy. Deadlines are important in self growth. Getting two selves together means that you will have two sets of deadlines. Figuring out how to compromise on those is a challenge.

I think it depends on what the deadline is for and if it's mutual

Depends on what kind of deadlines. I think it's important to set goals in your partnership and individually. Holding each other accountable and supporting each other is also really important and has always been the type of relationship I want to build.

I think they are healthy as long as they are not used to force guilt on someone

it depends...sometimes deadlines are good motivators, and sometimes they are damaging. we truly know each other and know when is the right time for a deadline, and when is the wrong time.

If both want each other, there is no deadline

Healthy

Healthy, they should be used for the betterment of a situation(s). It should also promote personal growth. Selfish & unrealistic deadlines should be seen as red flags.

Goals good and I think some deadlines may be healthy especially for a procrastinator like me, but ultimatums with deadlines could be damaging I think.
