I have lost ungrateful friends, being able to go out, and to have date time once a week. But I never regret having our little man in our lives!


Personally a lot of pride.


Can't think of anything.


Moving out of province!


Hard to say whats given up when the amount gained is so huge. Its like winning at slots. Sure you lose a quarter but you hit the mega jackpot.


Secrecy


Time apart. I work out of town for a month or two at a time. Putting up with not seeing each other is hard after a while but when we finally do see each other again it's as exciting as the first time!


Between us: we only gained and as parents we lost privacy and sleep. Lol


As a wise woman from Alabama once told me... There will be a lot of forgiving and forgetting to make a marriage last.


He gave in and moved to my home town to be with me and in turn once we decided to buy our home I gave up my home town to be able to spend more time with his children which was the best decision we ever made


Nothing I can think of.


gas money and nice hotels ;)


Independence


Living independently.


Time. Time away from family. Time from ourselves to be with each other.
We don't see each other that often so I think it's the other way around. Our relationship has to be planned most of the time. We see our families every single day.
