I gave up a job to make him happy and it actually made me more happy.


Nothing that I can think of - maybe the chance to sleep in lots!


I don't feel I have to give up anything to be with him, and I only hope he hasn't given up anything yet.

Lots of things, and they have been worthwhile


Now that the number of friends have effectively doubled, we both had to give up some time that we would've otherwise spent with our friends. Fortunately, we both like each others friends, so there isn't much differentiation anymore...


I have to give up my desire to hang out with my best friend every minute of the weekend so he can work. It's been hard for me to give up our time together, but I understand that it is necessary for our relationship and life together.

The nice thing is that we don't have to give up anything to make our relationship work. If someone really wants something, the other will understand and allow for it. There's a nice ebb and flow with the relationship, a give and take.

She left her home and job of 18 years to marry me. She now has a new job and a home with me. I gave up my well deserved freedom:-)
