I spend. She saves. It works out pretty well, for the most part.

We both like to save but are both spenders at times
generally I save, and it takes me time to build up the courage to part with large sums of money. but recently I've developed a penchant for online shopping :)

I save a great deal but I like to spend money on others as well. I enjoy giving my partner gifts that I know he will like and actually keep. I think that my husband is pretty similar to me in this regard.
