If we're talking maladaptive/malicious secrets that are not awesome surprises for birthdays, christmas, valentines day, ect, then no. There are times when I feel like we are "too honest" with each other, but that has very little to do with the actual secret and much more to do with the delivery of it. We try our best to say AND HEAR exactly what we mean while being empathetic and understanding and this fosters honesty between us.

No it isn't healthy at all. If there is something that I feel should be kept secret, it generally means that is something that should especially be shared. I love our relationship because I have nothing to hide and nothing to fear. That's healthy! :-)


There should be very few secrets. Thing that happened before you were together may be okay. Big secrets cause rifts.
