I feel this all the time...
If he would ever stand up for me.
When she tells me how manly I am to her
When we have talks about serious conversations such as the future. The one time he actually will sit and listen
When we are around my family.
May sound a bit silly but every single night before he falls asleep, regardless how late, he always sends me a text. Short and sweet, but I always say sweet dreams and he says sweet gum drops. It means so much b/c he's letting me know I'm on his mind but more so, it's personalized and original, something only he and I get it.
When he includes me in conversation with others & shows that he respects & appreciates my opinions
When she makes me comfortable and makes me feel like she really wants to be with me
When she tells me I'm a great father.
When he thanks me for things I do for him
I feel respected when she commands me to sit down and have a coffee even when I really want to help her out she thinks I do too much and never get a chance to rest but all I want to do is help her.
When we have an actual two sided conversation and when he asks me what I think even though I know he's going to do whatever he wants at least he thinks to ask my opinion
when he listens to what i am saying and acknowledges my feelings. the advice is always welcome but I just like to know I am being heard.
I love this comment, the worst thing for me to handle is when he gets up and walks away. I'm already upset and in doing that it make me hurt and alone. So when I saw this, I understood, then thought that really is a wonderful feeling when your able to communicate
