Aisle
Depends on the class. First Class: Window. Coach: Aisle. In first class you don't have to rush to get off the plane, you're already at the front. In coach, it behooves you to be close to the aisle to make a bolt for it as soon as the seatbelt light is no longer illuminated.
I want my cake and I want to eat it! I like to look out the window, but I like the aisle too so I don't feel trapped.

depends, i believe if the person you are with has never been to that destination i think you should selfishly let them have the better seat --window. but for sure the aisle for leg room and quick access to the restroom.

Window seat, for sure. I rarely need to get up, (maybe not even on a five hour flight) & I enjoy the view.
Aisle seat for more leg room.
Driver seat! :D
