Most of the time he is pretty good. He gets distracted easily so sometimes I have to remind him to be in the moment. I am better I think about it but definitely not perfect. Always a work in progress and hoping he and I can always strive for improving and bettering us and our relationship.
Yes, reminding me is always good. I don't always "get it" It's a man thing. xo

Um not really. He mostly spaces out. But I have mentioned this to him and he's trying so we'll see.

Yes

He tries to but I feel like he misinterprets my venting for something I expect him to fix or that I am blaming him for something. Instead of just listening or calmly talking things out he gets defensive and doesn't always want to compromise or see my side of things.

He listens in his very own unique way

Some of the time. She just has a hard time remembering what I said.
That's true.

Most of the time he does but not always

Well, I don't always feel like he does, but he says he does. Lol. I want his full attention and want him to be engaged in conversation. He seems distracted and uninterested at times.

Sometimes it seems like he gets distracted when listening to me, but most of the time he is a great listener. I'm guilty of this too at times.

Yes he listens sometimes.

My husband is such a old listener, especially when I've had a bad day. I'm so lucky to have him.
I meant GOOD listener, not old listener.
