No my partner does not listen to me, which is a shame because he always says .. 'oh I should have listened to you"..

Yes! But sometimes either of us doesn't really hear what the other is trying to say.

she listens better than I do. Sometimes we both are talking or in different spaces and not always hearing the undertone of our message. Most of the time I can tune in and its the closest I've ever listened to anyone. Learning and getting better everyday!
Yes, you are much better... less distractions help. More focus on the moment is essential. I do appreciate you hearing me.

Very good at listening and making immediate (and often persistent) changes.

My dear wife is a trained and wonderful listener... Hands down the very best. I on the other hand am not a great talker but if I need to she will always listen...

Psh, I always listen to you! Most of the time you don't listen to me
It depends on the definition of listening I suppose.

Yes :)

More than I'd like to admit. For all that I can gripe about "do people hear the words coming out of my mouth?", when it comes down to the little things, she always surprises me by having heard something I said off-the-cuff one day and following through on it.

Yes absolutely

Yes. She trusts my opinions about some things. In those areas, I sometimes hear my own words coming out of her mouth when she is trying to persuade a third party!

What?

Most of the time ... but there's nothing I can do to get through to her when she's reading her newspaper or looking at Facebook :)

No..
It's a mutual understanding, why did you have the lights on this morning pedorra? Quieres que te guise un huevo?
