I create my own destiny, but I know God gives me a guiding hand.

I believe you create your own destiny. Perhaps it is just the massive independent streak in me. Perhaps it is the unbridled capitalism that I embrace on a daily basis as a small business owner. I have a hard time believing that any "Supreme Being" would want any of to have a miserable life. Perhaps the path is made more difficult for some for an unknown reason but we are all given the ability to improve in different ways if we choose to.

I beleive we have great control over preparing ourselves for the future. Circumstances and coincidence are ultimately how things are decided. However, preparation, positioning, and immediate insightfulness is how our destiny is formed. Fate has nothing to do with any of this.
