I would want to know---whatever happens in the dark eventually comes to the light. Honestly, I would want him to tell me that he wanted to have sex with someone else so I could either attempt to fix what's wrong or allow him the freedom to do it. Wanting to do it is acceptable, dishonesty is a deal breaker.
