Well, for us, pleasing the other and telling the truth tend to go hand in hand. We're always giving each other our opinions, but that's good because we care what the other has to say. Occasionally, I check my phrasing before saying something out loud, but that's something I do with everybody, as part of "think before you speak".
Well speaking the truth is pleasing him. Lol.

The truth. I want to be honest always. You cant always say what a person wants to hear but if you want to grow together you have to be honest. Not pick or nag but share things that you dislike. We arent always aware of our bad qualities or habits.

Luckily for me pleasing her is more often than not he same as the truth. I actually can't think of when that's not the case.

They should go hand in hand - I've had honesty issues (means I'm a Liar)so I haven't spoken the truth - by nature I want people to like me and I still tend to be an avoider so I default to pleasing my partner - I can't always see beyond Truth itself is pleasing....
